THE EXCELLENCE OF MERINO WOOL

Merino sweaters stand out for their natural fineness. Unlike traditional wool, this noble material never itches and adapts perfectly to temperature variations. In winter, it provides cozy warmth; during mid-seasons, its breathability prevents that “stifled” feeling. This wool comes from sheep raised in the optimal conditions of the Australian highlands. This preserved environment guarantees a pure fiber, free from harsh chemical treatments.

WHY WE CHOOSE TO PRODUCE IN FRANCE

We have chosen to produce our entire women’s collection in France (sweaters, labels, buttons, packaging) because we found French partners and factories that offer our brand:

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A MERINO WOOL & CASHMERE BLEND?

Le Pull Français women’s sweaters are knitted in France using yarn from one of the best spinning mills in Italy (as we found no equivalent in France). This yarn is composed of two noble, entirely natural materials: extra-fine merino wool and cashmere.
Merino wool comes from a specific breed of sheep, providing a wool that is:

• 3 times finer, more elastic, and more resistant than traditional wool,
• Much softer: it doesn’t itch and is suitable for sensitive skin,
• Thermoregulating: neither too hot nor too cold,
• Naturally anti-bacterial: limiting the development of odor-causing bacteria.

Cashmere is a wool from a specific breed of goat that produces only 100g of wool per year, which explains its premium price.

• Extremely fine (only a few microns), it is incredibly soft and silky,
• Very warm and lightweight, though it is more delicate to maintain than merino wool.

Le Pull Français chose a blend of these two exceptional materials to create a sweater that is:

• Warm but not overly so, wearable for all occasions and seasons,
